YearbookLife’s Design Services Program Options

We realize that not everyone has the experience or time to design a yearbook. That’s why the LifeLine program was developed.

Using our Pictavo design software and your images, your dedicated designer will create a one-of-a-kind yearbook for your school in just three easy steps:

Basic — Template Setup

YearbookLife provides:

  • Basic page setup based on the customer's supplied ladder
  • Placement of pre-designed Pictavo templates according to the customer's theme choice
  • Portrait flow of all student pictures (must supply SPOA index)
  • Use of templates, graphics, and backgrounds available within Pictavo
  • Pictavo Stock Cover with school name and year added

Customer is responsible for:

  • Supplying the completed page ladder (Sample Ladder)
  • Creating all candid folders in the software
  • Uploading all candid and event photos directly into Pictavo photo folders
  • Placement of all candid photos into the templates
  • Any photo editing, cropping, retouching, or corrections
  • Adding all written material, including text, captions, and names
  • Reviewing, approving, and submitting the cover and completed pages

Premium — Custom Page Design

YearbookLife provides:

  • Custom page layouts created within Pictavo
  • Arranging submitted and sorted photos across page templates
  • Adding all written material, including text, captions, and names, provided by customer
  • Portrait flow of all student pictures (must supply SPOA index)
  • Selection and placement of Pictavo graphics and backgrounds within Pictavo
  • Consistent styling throughout the book based on your chosen theme in Pictavo
  • Pictavo Stock Cover with school name and year added
  • Create a high resolution PDF proof for review
  • Edits made after proof review

Customer is responsible for:

  • Supplying the completed page ladder (Sample Ladder)
  • Uploading and organizing all candid and event photos directly into appropriate folders
  • Any photo editing, cropping, retouching, or corrections
  • Providing all text, captions, names, and other content
  • Reviewing and approving the completed pages

Important: YearbookLife does not upload, organize, select, edit, retouch, or correct customer photos.

Additional Fees: Services or requests that fall outside the scope listed above—including additional revisions, extensive page changes, photo management, content changes, or other additional production work—may result in additional fees. Any additional charges will be communicated to the customer before the additional work is performed.

A deposit of 25% is due before any work can be started.

Here’s What You Need to Know:

  • Contact us for your custom pricing. Pricing varies according to your book specifications.
  • If page count decreases, but pages have already been designed the customer is still charged for all finished pages. 
  • Custom cover includes choice of background, school name and year. Any other customization will incur other fees, contact your designer for pricing.
  • All photos must be submitted through the Pictavo Portal. Any photos not uploaded to the Pictavo Portal are charged $5 per photo. 
  • All text, including but not limited to, captions, headers and all other text must be submitted in MS Word or a Google Document.
  • Once your book is complete, customers will receive a free high resolution digital PDF proof.
  • Edits to book:
          • Edits 1-15 edits no charge
          • Each additional Text edit = $2.00 each
          • Each additional Photo edit = $5.00 each
