Now we need to take care of some administrative items:

1) Portraits

When you receive your portrait images from your photographer, send the file to production@yearbooklife.com. We will upload your portraits into the software. If you are using YearbookLife’s Selfie Portrait feature, the images will be automatically uploaded after your portrait deadline.

2) Activities

What four activities are you including in your yearbook that require collages?

I will now create folders for each activity that you can upload the pictures to. You can combine images from different activities on one collage page, but remember to only upload 20 or fewer images per activity page. I will use all of the images you provide, but more than 20 are too many for a collage design.

3) Club/Groups

A standard yearbook ladder includes up to 4 pages for club/group pictures. Generally, these are group photos. We can fit up to 2 club/group pictures per page. What club/groups will you provide pictures for?

I will now create folders for each club/group that you can upload the pictures to. Please provide only 1 picture per club/group, up to 2 clubs per page.

Here’s What You Need to Know:

Custom cover includes choice of background, school name and year. Any other customization will incur other fees, contact your designer for pricing.
If page count decreases, but pages have already been designed the customer is still charged for all finished pages.
All photos must be submitted through Pictavo BuyTheYearbook. Any photos not uploaded to the Pictavo BuyTheYearbook are charged $5 per photo.
Once book is complete customer will receive a free PDF to proof. When customer approves proof payment is due in full.
Edits to book:

Edits 1-15 edits no charge
Each additional Text edit = $2.00 each
Each additional Photo edit = $5.00 each

Yearbook Production Guidelines

Cover Options

• Stock Cover: Includes a choice of theme, school name, and year.

• Custom Cover: Design will be discussed during your meeting with the designer. Additional fees may apply.

Page Count Policy

If the total page count decreases after pages have already been designed, the customer will still be charged for all completed (finished) pages.

Photo Submissions

All photos must be submitted through Pictavo BuyTheYearbook.

Photos not uploaded via Pictavo will incur a $5 per photo processing fee.

Proofing & Payment

Once the book is complete, the customer will receive a free PDF proof for review.

After the proof is approved, payment is due in full before printing begins.

Edit Policy

• Edits 1–15: No charge
• Additional Text Edits: $2.00 each
• Additional Photo Edits: $5.00 each
