Once you know how many pages will be in your book, it’s time to plan what information will go on each page. This is easily done using the Ladder feature in Pictavo software. In the Ladder, you can identify the topic for each page and which user(s) are assigned to each page. Using the Ladder as your guide provides three main benefits: (1) it will ensure that you have adequate coverage of all the content in the book without missing anything important, (2) it will help estimate how many pictures you’ll be able to use per topic so users don’t select or expect to use more than there is room for and (3) it will visually break down the project into manageable segments that will help you and others see the progress that you’re making as the book comes together.
