What is an Admin and What Can the Admin Do That a Regular User Can’t?

An Admin is the administrator of the book. Typically, the Admin is the yearbook adviser, PTO parent or whoever is in charge of coordinating the book and submitting it for publishing. Most of the privileges that an Admin has can be assigned to other users in the book. However, certain privileges are not assignable. These include:

  • Creating other user accounts that will log into the book
  • Assigning users to pages
  • Adjusting the permissions of existing users
  • Changing the properties of the book (e.g. how many books are being ordered, custom vs. stock cover, etc.)
  • Changing portrait flow properties
  • Viewing chat messages between other users
